We want to carve out a little bit of the world for all our kids and create an environment for them to learn new skills and grow in a safe space. This is no less true for our company mascot, Emerson. He is Lauren’s oldest and was diagnosed non-verbal autistic at age 2. We wanted to create a business that allows him to gain valuable work skills but maintains an environment that is safe and known to him.
